Suman Madhav Women College Zari
Suman Madhav Women’s College, Zari (District Nanded, Maharashtra) is a premier institution dedicated exclusively to the higher education of girls in rural areas. Managed by Sahyadri Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha, Zari, and affiliated to SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, the college offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, Science, Home Science, Fashion Design, and specialized fields such as Clinical Laboratory Science. Our core focus is on providing affordable, quality education to empower rural girls, enabling them to become self-reliant and active contributors to society.
History
The college was founded in memory of Late Shri. Madhavrao Patil Zharikar, a visionary dedicated to the cause of education and women’s upliftment in rural Maharashtra. Established under the aegis of Sahyadri Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha, Zari, the institution has been serving the girls of Zari and surrounding villages in Nanded district. With strong community support and a commitment to bridging gender gaps in education, the college has steadily grown, transforming the lives of countless young women through accessible higher education.
